Board Certified Asheville Plastic Surgeon Dr. Humphreys is Focused on Patient Care and Natural-Appearing Results

David H. Humphreys, M.D. is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology. Dr. Humphreys graduated with a bachelor’s degree from St. John’s College in Annapolis, Maryland. He earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Following an internship and a further year of general surgery residency training, he completed a residency in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine Affiliate Hospitals in Houston, Texas.

He received his plastic surgery training in Houston, completing a residency with Dr. Thomas Cronin, one of the pioneers of plastic surgery in the United States. Dr. Humphreys is co-author of the chapter on “Augmentation Mammaplasty” in Grabb and Smith’s Plastic Surgery (4th Edition) one of the most widely used plastic surgery textbooks.
